Late night...
... but what's new.
I'm up late every night but tonight I don't want to go to bed, I'm tired, but want to stay up and keep myself busy because if I go to bed I know I'll end up thinking things and will most probably start crying again. Today is my step-mum's birthday, she passed away in March earlier this year. It's only been 3 hours into the day and I've been crying but I need to stay strong for dad.
I've been busy working on the forum and my site this evening, changed the skin for the forum and it looks much better. Going to look into some coding and see what else I can do but right now, it's time for coffee. Toodles. x

Broken Promises
I've updated Life's Chronicles and decided to put the layouts on there, as well as a link to this blog. I don't know why. I have a tendancy to be spontaneous. Heh.
I wasn't very well yesterday but still went out and did some shopping. My dad gave me £60 but when I went through the checkout in Iceland I couldn't find the money anywhere. Panic, much? Oh yes!! Thankfully I had enough money on me but I drew out £30 from the bank and was going to give my dad £40 of my money and say it was the change, Heh. Anything to keep the peace.
So I got home and realised it was in my darn pocket the whole time and it wasn't £60, it was £80. Phew!
I have a heap of washing to do.. v_v

Being ill is funnn...
Today I have a stomach ache and been sitting next to the fire all day. My dad had a go at me earlier and told me to go down the doctors because there must be something wrong with me to be cold all the time. Heh. Maybe he is right.
I spent a lot of the day making a new blogger skin. It was my first attempt and the blogging code confused me but I got the hang of it, at least, I think so.

Blue Banana
I've changed the layout. Was browsing other blogs and came across a layout which had a link to a layout site and it was awesome, so many to choose from! Will most probably change the layout again but at the moment it's all okay.
So erm, let's see.
Yesterday was my dads birthday. He is so difficult to buy for so I bought him some cigars and told him I'd take him out for a meal sometime next week. I did cook him dinner yesterday and suprising we are both still alive!! Seriously, I am such a bad cook but I'm now having loads of experience so it all counts in the end. Today we ordered a take away. Heh. Two days cooking in the row, now that is challenging.
Went in Blue Banana today and absolutely fell in love with one of the tops. They have a sale on at the moment and for a change their prices are okay. Hm. Well, reachable. Just.

London
Okay so on Sunday I went to London and overall it was a good day, although I really wish my shyness and fear of public situations would go away because I was really quiet and didn't talk much to the FF'ers who I met, I regret it but hopefully there will be another meet up and seeing as I've met them once, I should feel more comfortable next time. It was a good day though, and I enjoyed meeting them.
My camera was playing up all day and I was struggling with the light. Something always happens when you have plans but I managed to save some of the photos and I thought I'd share them:

Booked train tickets
This internet connection is seriously testing my patience. I've scanned, emptied my cache and all that stuff but it's still slow and it's driving me crazy!
So anyway... after a rocky week I'm going to London on Sunday and this morning I went to the train station to book the tickets. There's 2 of us going. Feeling a bit anxious about it, the whole thing really! So anyway I booked the tickets and it cost £82 return. That's from Newport to Paddington then Paddington to Westminister via the tube and back to Newport for two people. So that's £41 each. Hmm.. broke the bank a bit being the poor student that I am but I guess the price isn't *too* bad, but it could be better!!
The weather is a big dodgy but hopefully it will hold up and stay warm. I don't fancy being stuck in London on a wet and rainy day, it just doesn't appeal to me. ^^

I had better make this a good one!!
Hmm... that's questionable because I'm not a very interesting person.
I've had a journal on LJ for a long time now but I've got increasingly bored of it and thought I'd try out the blogger.
I don't know what the main theme of this blog is going to be... but it's most probably going to be full of deep stuff as I'm quite a deep person but who knows. Only time will tell. Heh.
